F1 star Charles Leclerc took home the checkered flag at his native Grand Prix of Monaco earlier this year, but the Ferrari driver is making moves off the track as well, with a new partnership with Bang & Olufsen.
The luxury audio company has announced Leclerc as its new Global Brand Ambassador, kicking off the collaboration with a new campaign shoot that sees the driver posing with two of B&O’s most popular products: the Beosound A5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker and the Beoplay EX Wireless Bluetooth Earphones.
As part of the partnership, Bang & Olufsen and Leclerc are also teaming up to release a “limited-edition product” from the Danish brand, though no additional details have been announced.

Luxury earbuds from the Danish brandLeclerc is also spotted in the campaign donning a pair of B&O’s Beoplay Earbuds, which deliver what the brand calls “soul-stirring sound.” That’s thanks to the finely-tuned acoustics and snug fit, which result in a clearer and more detailed listening experience.
These buds also feature advanced noise cancellation technology — to help you focus on the music and not on outside noise — and six built-in microphones that let you use the earbuds to take calls loud and clear. A single charge gets you up to 20 hours of battery life; the Beoplay EX are also rated IP57 to be waterproof.
Leclerc may be best known as an F1 driver, but the Monaco native is also a budding musician, having composed and recorded his own songs on the piano. The racing star says the Bang & Olufsen collaboration is just an extension of his passion for music — and high performance.
“I have been a fan of Bang & Olufsen for many years, and I use their products every day,” he says, in a release. “The brand has a clarity and warmth in their sound that helps me disconnect from the racing world and brings me to a place where I feel connected to the artist. That is why the partnership is such a natural fit.”
“My professional life is all about precision and performance, and sound plays an important part in that,” Leclerc continues. “The cars I am driving are engineering marvels, and the sounds they produce inform me of the split-second decisions I need to take. This close attention to sound has trained my ear to listen differently, so quality of sound plays a vital role in my life.”
The new partnership with Leclerc continues an exciting Formula 1 season for Bang & Olufsen, who continue to partner with Scuderia Ferrari HP. The brand’s logo will once again be featured on Scuderia Ferrari HP’s F1 car, and the two brands will “continue to work closely to build immersive sound experiences” trackside and in Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide.
